Your agent asks for an inbox, signs up for something, and waits for the code. receive.mx hands back the code or the magic link, already pulled out of the email. One call. No setup.
Plain words, no mail servers, no DNS. If your agent can call a tool, it can get an email address.
A fresh, random address that's yours for 24 hours. Nobody else can read it without its token.
The call returns the moment the email lands, with the sender, subject, text and every link.
Skip the parsing. You get the one-time code, or the verify link, and nothing else.
An MCP server for Claude, Cursor and Codex, and the same thing as a REST API. No key needed: the inbox token is the only thing that unlocks it.
null, never a guess.# 1 · get an inbox curl -X POST https://receive.mx/v1/inboxes ← 201 { "address": "k7f2q9@asyncpost.com", "token": "rx_9f3c…", "expires_at": "2026-10-10T09:14:02Z" } # 2 · sign up somewhere with that address, then: curl https://receive.mx/v1/inboxes/k7f2q9@asyncpost.com/code?timeout=60 \ -H "Authorization: Bearer rx_9f3c…" ← 200 (returned after 3.4 s, when the email landed) { "code": "482913", "link": "https://linear.app/auth/magic?token=…", "from": "noreply@linear.app", "subject": "Your Linear login code" }
Pick a name, pay once, and email works on it straight away. We buy it, set up the DNS and switch on the inbox. Powered by Catchpoll.
Any address on your domain works, with no setup. signup@, github@, bot-7@: your agent makes them up as it goes.
buy_domain over MCP, paid with x402.We make money when you want your own domain. That's it.
No. Some sites block shared inbox domains. When that happens, use your own domain: it looks like any normal company's email, so it isn't blocked.
Only whoever holds the token from new_inbox. Addresses are random, and everything is deleted when the inbox expires.
Not yet. receive.mx only receives. If we add sending, it will be paid and tightly limited. We don't allow spam from here.
Use it for your own sign-ups, testing and automation. Don't use it to farm accounts or get around a site's rules. That breaks our terms and we will shut it down.
